Developed continuing education program surrounding sustainable design strategies and the 2030 Challenge. Conducted stakeholder process, provided educational delivery and evaluation recommendations, coordinated an advisory board to oversee the series, and curated two 10-session pilot series.

Coordinated several LEED-EB Operations & Maintenance project applications for submittal to the U.S. Green Building Council, including Seattle’s tallest building (Columbia Center, Silver).
Enterprise Community Partners
Developed green operations and maintenance training curriculum for affordable housing property managers. Facilitated work sessions with operators to establish or refine their sustainability strategy.
Evergreen State Heat & AC
Coordinated LEED-EB Operations & Maintenance project application for submittal to the U.S. Green Building Council. This was the first LEED EB O&M project in Snohomish County, WA (ESSM Building, Certified).
Created framework to track and compare energy and emissions impacts of building design projects for a global architecture firm. Worked closely with sustainable design leaders to determine priorities, consider organization change processes, develop an Excel-based tool, and train design team members.
Provided communications support and sustainability guidance for a private equity firm focused on the built environment within higher education. Coordinated e-mail campaigns, social networking tools, branding evolution, project proposals, and overall communications strategy.
New Buildings Institute
Served as Business Development Manager of COMNET, which is a quality assurance initiative to standardize building energy modeling. COMNET has many threads—code compliance, utility incentive programs, green building ratings, energy modeling software, and more. We helped curate relationships, bring tools and content to market, and develop the business model to move from foundational support to sustainable revenue-based operations.
Northwest Energy Efficiency Council (NEEC)
Crafted communications strategy and content to convey the macroeconomic impacts of the energy efficiency industry.
Puget Sound Energy
Served as primary account manager for Urban Smart Bellevue, a campaign aimed at achieving energy savings in downtown commercial buildings through behavior change and operational improvements.
Coordinated energy performance benchmarking of more than 100 retail stores and office buildings using EPA’s Portfolio Manager and the ENERGY STAR rating system. Assisted CSR staff gather and review energy data, and trained other internal stakeholders on the ENERGY STAR platform. Developed multivariate infographics to tell the story of REI’s environmental impact in the realms of energy, emissions and waste.
University of Washington Integrated Design Lab
Assisted with deep energy retrofit research for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. Interviewed property managers and building engineers in order to compile case studies of mid-high-rise commercial office buildings in Seattle.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
Managed the ENERGY STAR commercial building design program and provided technical support surrounding EPA’s Target Finder tool for rating energy performance of building designs. Conducted outreach to design professionals to promote exemplary energy performance in new construction projects.
Configured energy and water sub-metering system at large downtown Seattle office building to enable understandable data access for the building engineering team, the property management team, and key tenants.
