AIA Seattle

Jared worked with staff, an advisory group, and other stakeholders to research, design and implement an innovative sustainability curriculum aimed at architects and engineers. After a successful pilot in Seattle, the AIA+2030 series was replicated in cities across the U.S. and now has an online companion.

pcc community markets

Jared works at the nexus of PCC’s grocery store development team, its general contractor, and a variety of subcontractors to drive high performance goals for energy, water, and healthy materials. In 2020, PCC’s Ballard store became the first grocery store in the world to earn Living Building Challenge Petal Certification.

Jared coordinated a host of partner organizations and experts to develop an industry standard for building energy modeling.

Seattle 2030 District

Jared serves on this non-profit board of directors, representing a diverse collection of property owners, building managers, design professionals, utilities, public agencies, and non-profits all dedicated to improving energy performance, water use and vehicle miles traveled within Seattle’s downtown core. The 2030 District emphasizes private sector innovation, knowledge and resource sharing, and public private partnerships.
